Green Dragon Foundation President – Guest Speaker at Lewisburg Sunset Rotary

On February 1, Brooks Gronlund spoke to members of Lewisburg’s Sunset Rotary Club about the importance of raising private funds in support of the Lewisburg Area School District.
Gronlund was the guest speaker at the service organization who meets regularly at Purseil’s Irish Pub in Lewisburg. Highlighting his presentation was Gronlund’s announcement that the Green Dragon Foundation recently donated $40,000 to the Lewisburg Area School District in support of the district’s 21st Century Classrooms program. According to Gronlund, “A portion of the gift, $30,000 will enable the district to place information technology items at Kelly Elementary School, where the need for technology is currently the greatest. The remaining $10,000 will be used for an innovative high school program, “On-Line Courses for Advanced Learning”.
