Green Dragon Foundation Holds its Annual Board Meeting
On February 9, 2010, the Green Dragon Foundation held its annual board meeting at the Spring Run Conference Center in Brookpark Farms. Board members R. Brooks Gronlund, Andrea L. Bertram, Samuel Lundquist, and Timothy Apple were re-elected for three-year terms. Other board members include Graham Showalter, Gale Reish, Ann Sherpick, Mark Temple, Chris Baylor, and Bob McCormack. Non-voting advisors to the board include Mark DiRocco, Kathy Swope, Brady Fisher and Bob Donehower.
Immediately following, 2010 officers were elected. They included President, R. Brooks Gronlund; Vice-President, Ann R. Sherpick; Treasurer, Robert J. McCormack; Secretary, Andrea L. Bertram; Assistance Treasurer, Christopher Baylor; and Assistant Secretary, Timothy Apple.
According to Foundation president, Brooks Gronlund, “It is the mission of the Green Dragon Foundation to provide and direct funding for the realization of educational, cultural, and athletic programs and capital improvement projects for the enrichment and enhancement of the students of the entire Lewisburg Area School District.”
The goals of the Green Dragon Foundation include promoting charitable and planned giving. It will continue to seek funding to provide students with expanded learning opportunities, materials and facilities from public and private sources.
