GDF Identifies New Initiatives to Fund

Recently, at its August board meeting, the Green Dragon Foundation Board of Directors approved four new initiatives it wishes to support. The new programs include;

  • Special Needs and Student Support Programs
  • LAHS Advanced Scientific Laboratory Experiences
  • Extra-Curricular Intelligence, Improving Student Performance (Leader Development Program)
  • Performing and Visual Arts Endowment

 

These four new programs were added to the list of previously approved programs, including;

  • 21st Century Classrooms
  • On-Line Courses for Advanced Learning at LAHS
  • Advanced Reading with Electronic Readers at Kelly Elementary
  • Middle School Television Studio
