July 24 Update: 

Through July 23, we've raised $39,613 toward our goal of $74,000. We are 54% toward achieving our goal and unlocking the USTA grant of $66,000!

Our Vision

To fully realize the potential of the six new tennis courts on the Lewisburg Area High School (LAHS) campus by installing permanent lighting—extending access for our student athletes, clubs, and the entire Lewisburg community.

Background

In 2024, the Lewisburg Area School District (LASD) completed construction of six beautiful new tennis courts on the high school campus in Kelly Township. In anticipation of future improvements, all infrastructure needed for lighting was thoughtfully included during construction.

Now, thanks to a unique opportunity, we are poised to take the next step. In fall 2025, Keystone Sports Construction and Musco Lighting will be installing permanent lighting at the high school’s turf field (used by LAHS soccer and lacrosse programs, as well as the community’s NUU soccer program). Because of this timing, the vendors have offered LASD a discounted rate to install lights at the tennis courts at the same time—making now the perfect moment to act. The total cost of the tennis court lighting project is $140,000.

A Timely Opportunity

We are thrilled to announce that LASD has been awarded a $66,000 matching grant from the United States Tennis Association (USTA). To secure these funds, we must raise the remaining $74,000 from community members, businesses, and supporters like you.

  • Extend playing hours for high school tennis teams and clubs.

Our goal: Raise $74,000 to unlock the $66,000 USTA matching grant. You can:

  • Make a gift today—your contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
  • Pledge payments can be extended up to three years, if preferred.
  • Support through business sponsorships, including five-year banner recognition.
  • Claim a naming opportunity for lasting visibility and community goodwill.

Naming Opportunities

The Green Dragon Foundation offers donors a variety of district-wide facility naming opportunities (see additional lists). Opportunities specific to the tennis courts include:

  • $250,000 to permanently name the entire tennis complex.
  • $100,000 to name the entire tennis complex for five (5) years.
  • $25,000 to permanently name one of the six courts (1 court funded, 2 courts pending, 3 courts available).
  • $10,000 to put your name and/or logo on a 4’x8’ banner to hang at the tennis courts (or another LASD athletic venue) for five (5) years.

These opportunities enable donors to honor their family name, or the name of a loved one, in a very public and enduring way.
