Fabulous Spastics Party Gathering
Friday's Alumni Weekend activities would not be complete without one final stop at the Bull Run Tap House to enjoy The Fabulous Spastics! We are honored and thrilled that, again this year, The Spastics will be playing that classic rock and roll that we remember so fondly from our high school years! Original Spastic band members Jim Wetzel ’58 and George Diefenbach ’58, will be joined by other veteran rock 'n rollers…and a millennial drummer! The original band members are now in their eighties – technically senior citizens – but these upper classmen rock! They, like the songs that they sing, have stood the test of time! We are lucky to have this group representing Lewisburg Alumni. Be prepared to find yourself smiling and laughing with alumni friends as the music brings back wonderful memories! Please join us in the back dining room, reserved for our group. We will serve hors d’oeuvres and provide for a cash bar.
Class members from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s will have a great time!

The Pecan Sandies
Friday's events conclude with The Pecan Sandies featuring LAHS Alums from the Class of 2012, Jordan Price, Jordan Bertram, and Kevin Glock. The Pecan Sandies have been rocking Central Pennsylvania since 2012. Whether it's a bar/restaurant, private party, or even a wedding, they’ve become a live music staple that never disappoints. They are committed to giving their audiences the best show possible with their high-energy performances. Although their song repertoire consists of Classic Rock at its core, the band has also been known to bust out crowd-pleasers of all genres if the audience calls for it. From Led Zeppelin to the Beastie Boys, The Pecan Sandies play a diverse portfolio of songs that is guaranteed to satisfy crowds of all ages.

Heritage Room History Experience at Lewisburg Area High School.
If you haven’t had an opportunity to do so yet, come see the The LAHS Alumni Association's Heritage Room in (the first of its kind in the state!). Visit our Heritage Room to see the wonderfully displayed high school memorabilia including our Power-Point presentation of LAHS and its students through the decades! Visit with fellow alumni and chat with members of our LAHS Alumni Association. .

History of Lewisburg Walking Tour led by Jack Fisher LAHS ’69
Join us as we gather at Soldier’s Park on Water Street, near the bridge, for a walking tour of Lewisburg. This event will last approximately 1 ½ hours, so please dress accordingly. Our tour of Lewisburg will proceed down Water Street to Front Street and feature topics include the river, canal system, Lewisburg history, Union County, Ludwig Derr, Underground Railroad, Bucknell University and the Federal Penitentiary. The tour will finish up with a look at the Federal building at the Cook residence at 201 Market Street, the Cameron House. This event is limited to the first 25 registrants.

Wine-Tasting at Fero Vineyards
Come join us at the vineyard for this exciting wine experience along with an exciting special JUST for LAHS Alumni and enjoy delicious wine tasting at Fero Vineyards! LAHS alum, Daneen Fero Zaleski ’85, and husband Chuck are growing and producing fine wines from the hills surrounding her family’s home in Kelly Township in Lewisburg. Enjoy tasting the week’s three featured wines from a variety of wines such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Lemberger and Pinot Gris. Come join us at the vineyard for this exciting wine experience and a relaxing afternoon!

Lewisburg Alumni Cocktail Reception at Best Western Plus Country Cupboard Inn's Baylor Room
Take a relaxing walk down memory lane, with friends old and new, while checking out all the Lewisburg memorabilia on display. Highlighting this event is the honoring of the 2023 Distinguished Alumni. This activity has been generously sponsored by Lewisburg alums so there is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required and is limited to the first 200 people..

In 2011, our very own rails-to-trails path was opened for the enjoyment of walkers, runners and bikers.
